We had our last meeting today. Nicole, a Dusseldorf native, came in to give the gang a few lessons on German Culture. We learned to not be surprised when Germans put mayonnaise on fries, keep our forks in the same hand, keep our hands above the table, not to expect quick service at restaurants, order water without carbonation, and to always shake hands and look people right in the eye. It was very helpful and a good last primer before we go. We got our phone numbers and a reading packet to help us understand the history behind some of the things we will be seeing. We should be good to go!
